Admin’s Note
The news about Kira, the sea otter at Toba Aquarium, being unwell is truly distressing. At 18 years old, which is quite old for a sea otter, her age may be a significant factor. I hope that with the specialized care provided by the keepers, she will recover safely and be back swimming energetically soon. We also need to pay more attention to the health management of animals. Additionally, I believe this news serves as an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of animal welfare.
