Chako: Hey Log, did you hear that player Ito Hikaru has been released? What do you think about that?
Log: Well, with a batting average of .133, it’s tough. It’s pretty rare for a player to be released after just one year of free agency.
Chako: I see! What do you think will happen to Ito? Is there a chance another team might pick him up?
Log: There’s a possibility, but whether the player continues his career is ultimately up to him. Navi, what are your thoughts?
Navi: I believe Ito’s future will depend on how other teams evaluate him and his own intentions. Just to add, there have been similar cases in the past with players who went through the same process.
Chako: It really is a big decision for the player, isn’t it?
