Dialogue
This dialogue is fictional and based on the article.
Chako: Hey Log, I heard that Mr. Kudo has been confirmed as the manager of the Chunichi Dragons!
Log: Yeah, that’s right. Since Mr. Kudo has had success in the past, there’s a lot of expectation around him.
Chako: I heard they’re offering him a multi-year contract. What does that mean?
Log: It means they’re giving him a long-term commitment to the team. It allows Mr. Kudo the time to build the team properly.
Navi: Just to add, a multi-year contract ensures stability for the manager, which can contribute to player development and reforms within the team structure.
Chako: I see! So they’re also counting on him to develop young players!
Admin’s Note
The appointment of Mr. Kudo will mark a new beginning for the Chunichi Dragons. Given his past achievements, it is expected that he will focus on developing young players and reforming the team’s structure. As President Kato mentioned, it is commendable that they considered what the team needs right now and made appropriate choices in personnel. I am very excited to see how Chunichi will evolve moving forward.
