The recent demand for the resignation of the president of Real Madrid prompts us to reconsider the significance of statements made in the sports world. Particularly, bringing up historically sensitive topics like the Nazis is a very delicate issue. As mentioned in Chaco’s remarks, careful word choice is essential, as such statements can affect the feelings of both players and fans. It will also be interesting to see what measures the government will take moving forward.
